Goleta Groundwater Monitoring Program
Under the direction of the Public Health Department, Environmental Health Services (SBCEHS), semi-annual groundwater monitoring reports were submitted to the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). The Site encompasses 147-Acres of office buildings, a compressor building, warehouses, natural gas injection/ extraction wells, and associated pipelines. The program included the installation of additional monitoring wells to better define the subsurface impacts of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and 1,4-dioxane.
